Reality Awareness Outreach Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Syracuse, NY. Established in 2016 by social worker Isaac Rivers and criminal defense attorney Irene A. Flores, the organization was born from a unique collaboration between two individuals from vastly different backgrounds but united by a shared vision. Both Isaac and Irene, residents of Syracuse, were driven by their personal experiences with the challenges of inner-city life and a deep-seated passion for justice. They founded Reality Awareness Outreach Inc. with a commitment to being a voice for change for those who are often overlooked and underserved.

 

Focused on assisting families and individuals in distressed communities, particularly those grappling with the harsh realities of poverty, the organization brings a wealth of experience in human services programming, social work, legal defense, and community activism. Reality Awareness Outreach Inc. has developed a unique approach that meets clients where they are, offering tailored supportive services, educational programs, and career development training in the human services field. This approach aims to open new doors and provide a pathway out of poverty for those they serve.
